How to Load Your Swim Sessions
Getting your swim sessions from TrainingPeaks onto your Garmin watch is easier than doing a flip turn! Here's a step-by-step guide:
1. Link Your Accounts: First, make sure your TrainingPeaks and Garmin Connect accounts are linked. Log into your TrainingPeaks account, go to the 'Account' settings, and find the 'Apps & Devices' section. Connect your Garmin account here.
2. Coach’s Workout Plans: I create your swim workouts either as a 121 athlete or via one of my training plans which are uploaded to TrainingPeaks. You’ll see all the details – warm-up, drill set, main set, cool down – laid out for you.
3. Sync Your Workout: Once the workout is saved, it will automatically sync to Garmin Connect. You can double-check this by logging into Garmin Connect and navigating to 'Training' > 'Workouts'.
4. Send to Your Device: In Garmin Connect, find your swim workout under 'Workouts'. Select it and click 'Send to Device'. Make sure your Garmin watch is synced to your phone or computer to receive the workout.
